One prompt. An editable Behance layout.
Get an editable Illustrator layout, ordered media, and draft copy—ready for you to review and upload.
You'll need Adobe Illustrator and access to Code in the Claude desktop app (paid Claude plan).
Code </> → + NewThis computer → folder icon → Open folder….ai file for future edits.Help me prepare a Behance case study using my supplied assets. CONTEXT - Asset folder: use the folder selected in this Code chat. Confirm its name and the files you can read before proceeding; if access is missing, help me select it. - Title or subject: [your title, or write: suggest a title] - My role and credits: [your contribution and credits] - Optional context: [purpose, tools, or brand guidelines; leave blank if unavailable] 1. REVIEW AND PROPOSE Inspect the supplied images, videos, logos, renders, and other files. Summarize what is usable and flag anything you cannot open. Do not assume any asset type is present. If video is supplied, report its resolution, duration, and fps when accessible, and suggest representative frames. Use my explanation and the supplied assets to understand the work. Propose suitable sections, their order, and the assets for each; do not force a fixed template. Draft concise section headings and body copy from confirmed information, and include them in the plan for review. Ask only for missing details that matter. Show me the plan and wait for my approval before extracting frames, creating the layout, or exporting files. 2. BUILD AFTER APPROVAL Create an editable Illustrator layout using ExtendScript (.jsx), following the approved structure. Add the approved section headings and body copy to the layout as editable text, not just a separate copy document. Use clearly named layers and editable text; keep supplied raster images and video frames as original placed assets. Reserve video positions only when relevant; videos will be added separately on Behance. Keep any video placeholder on a non-exporting guide layer. Show me a layout preview and wait for approval before final export. Run the JSX in Illustrator automatically if your tools and permissions allow. If you cannot, save the .jsx file and tell me to open Illustrator, choose File > Scripts > Other Script, and select it. Give me the exact saved script location, explain that it builds the layout, and state whether it was actually run. If execution fails, report the error and help me fix it without overwriting the originals. If you cannot save files, provide the complete script with instructions to save it as .jsx. 3. DELIVER Save the editable Illustrator document as .ai in a separate output folder. Keep placed assets available with the deliverable so links are not missing. Export approved sections as separate PNG or JPG images at a consistent width, named in upload order. Copy the approved supplied videos and GIFs into the delivery folder without altering their content or overwriting originals. Give ALL page media one shared numbered sequence, regardless of format, for example 01_Hero.png, 02_About.png, 03_Video.mp4, 04_Details.gif. Do not number videos separately or place them all at the end. Keep any cover thumbnail separate from the page sequence and clearly label its purpose. Exclude video placeholders from exports. Save a short title, description, credits, and relevant tags in a text file using confirmed information only. List the exact output locations, what each file is for, the upload order including video positions, and any manual steps still needed. Do not claim files were created or exported unless confirmed. RULES - Preserve the original artwork, logos, text, proportions, colors, and brand identity. Do not redraw, distort, recolor, or generate replacement assets without explicit approval. - Adapt the presentation to the supplied work; do not invent a client, brief, process, results, or credits. - Keep source files unchanged and save new files in a separate output folder. - Ask before uploading or publishing anything.
Click the folder icon beside This computer, then Open folder… at the bottom of the menu. Select the whole folder, not a file inside it. Its name should appear beside the icon; Claude should confirm which files it can read.
JSX is a script that builds the layout. Ask Claude for the saved .jsx file, then open Illustrator and choose File > Scripts > Other Script. Select the script. If an error appears, send its message back to Claude.
Upload the numbered images, GIFs, and videos in order, then add the reviewed title and description. Each video is a separate media item in the same sequence. Keep the .ai document and its linked assets for editing; the .jsx is only the build script.
